Safe Environment Training for All Volunteers

Safe Environment

All parish/school/CCD volunteers (example: ushers, choir members, lectors, Eucharistic ministers, festival workers, etc. - for a complete list please see Appendix A in the tan Safe Environment booklet) are reminded that they must complete the Safe Environment requirements: online Diocesan database application, clearances (Child Abuse, PA Criminal), FBI fingerprinting or waiver, and Protecting God's Children Workshop (either class or online).

In addition, there is a new training that those who are responsible for the welfare of children (including Religious Education, Youth Ministry volunteers, and School parents/volunteers - for a complete list see Appendix D in the tan SE booklet) must complete the Mandated Reporter Training.

Reminder: Volunteers (parish, school, CCD) who have not completed the requirements may not serve in ministry or volunteer at the school.
